Atomic Capital Minerals, a Houston-based private equity firm, is looking to hire an in-house mineral buyer. The role involves calling owners of oil and gas minerals around the country to negotiate the purchase of mineral interests. Please read below for additional details:



Title: In-house Mineral Buyer


Department: Mineral Acquisitions


Primary Duties:
• Call mineral owners across the US to negotiate the purchase of oil and gas mineral rights
• Maintain a database of mineral owners across the US
• Assist land department in title chain activities related to mineral interest ownership


Skills needed:
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Comfortable making 50+ phone calls per day to mineral owners
• Ability to build rapport and establish relationships with mineral owners
• Highly motivated, goal driven individuals
• Previous exposure to the oil and gas industry is preferred although not required


Compensation:
• Base salary plus commission
• Group health and dental plan
