Denver based firm looking to hire experienced, motivated mineral buyer to solicit targeted acquisitions via telephone. This is a commission oriented position that involves cold calling mineral owners across the US.

The ideal candidate has strong telephone communication skills and experience making high volume phone solicitations (cold calls). He/she can work with minimal supervision and possesses a strong sense of urgency. Strong ability to “close” deals is required.

Primary Duties:
• Call mineral owners across the US to negotiate the purchase of assets
• Maintain ownership and contact database

Skills / Attributes required:
• Self-starter
• Goal Driven
• Comfortable making 50+ phone calls per day (cold calls)
• Good written communication skills
• Ability to work well with others
• Ability to quickly build rapport, progress conversations and overcome objections over the telephone
• Previous exposure to the oil and gas industry is preferred although not required
• Professional appearance and demeanor

Compensation:
• Base + Commission
