Landman/Title AbstractorAs a Landman and Title Abstractor since 1993, I have acquired vast knowledge and skills which I worked hard to build to advance my career. I take tremendous pride in the many accomplishments that I have made throughout those years, and I am constantly looking to expand and challenge myself to new experiences. I am looking to bring all of my talents and acquired knowledge to your company. Being an Independent Landman requires a great amount of self-motivation and constant adaptation to meet the requirements of the changing oil and gas industry. Being able to adapt and stay motivated are two of the things that I have excelled at since the beginning of my career. I began my career in 1993 as a Real Estate Abstractor’s apprentice and quickly became a Senior Abstractor covering surface title research in the southeastern Louisiana parishes. In 2005 I started my own company, Infinity Abstracting, L.L.C. Five months later, Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans which destroyed the real estate industry, thereby destroying my business. It was then that I began my Landman career, and the opportunities that opened up to me were astounding. Since the reinvention of my company from Real Estate Abstractor to Landman, I have travelled the country and have worked in over 70 Parishes/Counties throughout eight states. I have worked as an in-house contractor, lived out on the road, worked remotely from my house, and worked in secured facilities on projects that I can’t mention. My resume contains details of my past accomplishments and lists some of the companies for which I have worked. I am an active member of the AAPL and have a website, www.infinityabstracting.com, which contains more information about me. Finally, I have a lot to offer as I am creative-minded and am able to perform tasks quickly and efficiently. I work well as an individual and/or with a team and have a laid-back, easy-going personality while maintaining a professional demeanor. I am proficient in all the Microsoft Office programs and have built many different types of reports and projects in my career. I have a strong commitment to personal and professional excellence.
