I have been part of the land/real estate title business for the past five years, writing oil and gas title opinions for most of that time and have been for the past few months examining title documents for abstracting purposes.

Louisiana Scholars' College at Northwestern State University, 1987-1991, 3.715 gpa with cum laude honors; field of study was Humanities and Social Thought in an honors program. My senior thesis (much like a dissertation was a translation of the will of an 18th century resident of Natchitoches, LA and a thorough examination of the lives of his heirs (his freed slaves) through the public records from the time of their manumission (the freeing of slaves by will) through the present day (1991) at that time.
