Title Attorney/LandmanMIRIAM RODRIGUEZ-UYEDA 11463 W. Hawaii Avenue Lakewood, Colorado 80232 303-988-1767 mirirod@centurylink.net July 26, 2013 Re: Landman/Title Attorney position Dear Sir/Madam: I would like to apply for a position as a Landman/Title Attorney, as I am very interested in working in the oil and gas industry. I would like to find a position where I may utilize my excellent research and writing skills, and extensive hands-on legal experience. Therefore, I am attaching my resume with this letter. I am a 2000 graduate of Vermont Law School with a Juris Doctor and a Master’s Degree in Environmental Law who has always wanted to work in the Oil and Gas industry, and to be able to use my environmental background to find a position, as well as use my extensive experience as a Legal Assistant and Paralegal before I attended law school. I have recently been admitted to the bar in Colorado, (May 2013), and am looking for a position where I may develop the broad experience required to work in in the oil and gas field, and would be very interested in speaking with you about securing a position as a Title Examiner/Attorney/Landman with your company. I am confident I can make an immediate and significant impact while learning the Oil and Gas industry. As a Legal Assistant/Paralegal I did have extensive experience, having filed patent applications; drafted various types of pleadings, memoranda, briefs, and correspondence; and prepared taxes, wills, and codicils. I gained solid experience in working closely with clients, preparing cases for trial, and managing heavy caseloads with minimal supervision. Interacting with attorneys and clients has enhanced my interpersonal and communication skills. In sum, my diverse experiences are testament to the fact that I can be an effective and outstanding Title Attorney, Landman, or Title Examiner with your company. I would appreciate the opportunity to meet with you to discuss a position that you are currently recruiting for, and how I might contribute to those efforts. Thank you in advance for your consideration. Sincerely, Miriam Rodriguez-Uyeda, Esq.
