Position Held, Senior Land Agent
I work as a Roaming Senior Land Agent and Senior Title Agent in Tennessee, Mississippi and Louisiana on the Gulf Express (GXP) Project for Columbia Gulf Pipeline Group. Identified landowner tracts and performed title searches, identified ROW easements, plotted legal descriptions, and coordinated with other land agents on title and acquisition issues and rendered assistance when needed in other assigned areas. I performed Acquisition of Survey Permissions, Verification of the ownership of property and prepared easement and site location descriptions for review. Work with Landowners to secure New Compressor Site locations for existing Natural Gas Liquids Pipeline. Educated landowners in the process and explained the purpose of the project and the necessity to acquire the property, permit, and/or authorization, and answered any questions the owner/agency representative had regarding Compression Station Sites. I negotiated price and land values with the Landowner’s, Maintained Percheron, LLC.’s and Columbia Gulf Group’s proprietary database, and supervised / coordinated all mission requirements with Surveyors, Engineers, Attorneys, and Contractors on all aspects of the selected Compressor Site locations. I completed all aspects of the selected Compressor Site locations to include the purchase of said locations one (1) year plus ahead of schedule thus resulting in enormous savings to the client. Obtained necessary permits required from local authorities and laid the foundation for obtaining permits required in the future as project emerges.

Worked as a sub-contractor for John Merritt, MS Attorney in New Mexico on the TNMP - Electric Transmission Line that was a 135kV - upgrade – Project commenced in Alamogordo, NM and finished in Tularosa, NM. I purchased easements for new line - constructed adjacent to existing line - both lines needed to be operational to transfer power without any interruption and the old line was removed after new line was constructed and operational.
